The
Ezecal 6 process calibrator/simulator is small and
lightweight yet provides the total solution for on
site or laboratory calibration.
Ezecal 6 provides
high accuracy linear voltage and current calibration
capability and also full support for most
thermocouple types.
Simultaneously
measures and simulates any of its ranges.
Utilises a high
visibility, 122 x 32 pixel graphic display with
backlight.
In thermocouple mode
it can simulate any of the standard thermocouples
over their complete working range and eliminate the
need for "look-up" tables, cold junction
calculations and temperature unit conversions.
Simply set in the appropriate temperature via the
keypad. Temperatures can be in degrees Celsius,
Fahrenheit, Kelvin or Rankine and cold junction
compensation can be manual or automatic.
A serial
communication port enables it to connect to the FGH
website and down load alternative ranges.
The EZECAL Model 6 is
the ideal instrument for calibration checks on
recorders, indicators, controllers, and for setting
up transducers.
All necessary
operations are via a 16-position keypad; the
easy-to-read display shows temperature, thermocouple
type, cold junction mode and temperature units.
The EZECAL Model 6
includes universal Mains Charger Unit & Carrying
case with cable storage compartment. It costs
considerably less than comparable specification
calibrators.
This range of portable calibrators is designed to make
testing and calibration of high pressure instruments and systems both quick and simple.
Two versions are available, the DPI 320 which is the standard model and the DPI 325 which
supports real time error analysis and has full documenting capability.

The Ezecal MK5 is
a high performance communicating temperature
calibrator/simulator that combines a rugged cast
aluminium housing for field use with 0.02%
laboratory precision.
A unique
graphical display with soft function keys and
both a control wheel and numeric key pad for
changing variables makes the Ezecal very simple
and convenient to use. Logging facilities
include replay of trend graphs via the built in
graphic display, downloading to a PC and direct
output to a printer for record keeping or on the
spot production of calibration certificates.

Common Thermosensors
The Ezecal MK5
ranges include R, S, J, K, T, E, B, N, L, W, W3,
W5 and NiMo thermocouples over their full
specified spans, with automatic or manual CJC.
Other ranges are resistance thermometer types
PT100 and Ni100, resistance 0-400.00 ohms, volts
from 100.00mV to 10.000V and current 0-20.000mA.
Measure And
Simulate Together
All sensor types
can be measured displayed to high resolution and
also simulated to provide precision inputs to
instruments requiring calibration. Sensor
simulation e.g. thermocouple, output measurement
e.g. 4-20mA, and isolated power supply are all
provided at the same time, allowing field
calibration of 2 wire transmitters.
The Ezecal MK5
can even store calibration records and print
certificates using a proprietary printer such as
a portable bubble jet or laser printer. Recorded
data is held in non-volatile memory until it can
be printed or downloaded to a PC as spreadsheet
compatible comma delimited files.
A
single connector provides RS232 interface
connections configurable for direct output to a
printer or for serial communications with a PC.
An external converter, available from FGH,
allows connection to IEEE488 bus systems (GPIB).
An RS232 printer interface allows direct
printing of records. |

The Ezecal
MK4 is a highly versatile, high accuracy
instrument, suitable for both simulation and
measurement of thermocouple e.m.f.'s and
also provides a millivolt source of +/-
99.99mV.
When in thermocouple mode it can simulate
any of the B.S. Standard Thermocouples over
their complete working range and eliminates
the need for "look-up" tables, cold junction
calculations and temperature unit
conversations. Simply set in the appropriate
temperature via the keypad. Temperatures can
be in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit, and
C.J.C. can be manual or automatic. The
Ezecal MK4 is the ideal instrument for
calibration checks on temperature recorders,
indicators and controllers, and. - used as a
millivolt source, for setting up
transducers.
All necessary operations are set up via a 16
position membrane type keypad; the
easy-to-read display shows temperature
thermocouple type, cold junction mode and
temperature units.
When a number of instruments of the same
type are to be checked at various points
over their range, "LEARN" mode can be used
to "teach" the Ezecal MK4 the required
values. "Recall" selection and operation of
a single key then selects the appropriate
value. Alternatively, by use of the
time-base facility, the pre-selected values
can be automatically stepped through at
pre-set intervals. During this sequence the
display shows which step in the programme is
operational.
Unlike many more expensive simulators, the
Ezecal MK4 does not "forget" stored values
when switched off - this saves a lot of time
checking instruments spread over a factory
site.
A logging facility allows up to 50 measured
values to be stored for later examination.
The Ezecal MK4 can then be made to compute
maximum, minimum and average values.
Powered from
4 x AA Nickel/Cadmium rechargeable batteries
the Ezecal MK4 provides up to 20 hours of
continuous use. Batteries can be recharged
by a mains charger or in a car via a lead,
available from FGH, that plugs into the
cigar lighter.
A smart
durable carrying case with shoulder strap
can also be provided. At a size of only 200
x 100 x 45mm and 470g in weight, the Ezecal
MK4 is almost a pocket instrument, and is an
essential part of any instrument
engineer/technician's equipment. The Ezecal
MK4 includes 240V (optionally 110V) mains
charger unit & carrying case with cable
storage compartment. It costs considerably
less than comparable specification
calibrators. |

MC3 Portable Multifunction Calibrator
MC3
calibrator is a portable "mid-range" calibrator which can be ordered in
three different configurations. MC3 is based on the advanced Beamex MC5 technology, thus
offering an IP65 calibrator with the internal boards mounted on shock absorbers to
withstand shocks.
The
available configurations for the MC3 are MC3PE which has pressure and
electrical functions, the MC3TE which has temperature and electrical functions
and the MC3MF, which is a Multifunction Calibrator with pressure, temperature
and electrical functions.
